A postdoctoral position on solar photocatalysis is immediately available in Professor W. David Wei’s group at the Department of Chemistry of University of Florida, Gainesville FL USA. This is a joint project with Brook Haven National Laboratory. The objective is to fundamentally understand the chemical and physical mechanisms governing the photocatalytic activities of plasmonic nanomaterials. Candidates are expected to have background in surface science and catalysis, be familiar with optical and electronic properties of nanomaterials, and have good knowledge in solid state physics. Experience with FTIR and Raman spectroscopy is a plus.
