学术成就和学术贡献简述

从事生物无机化学研究,在探索光活化金属配合物抗肿瘤方面做出了突出贡献。包括通过金属配合物的超分子组装、氧化聚合和光物理性质调控,构建新型金属双光子光敏剂;利用金属配合物对线粒体代谢过程干预,诱导癌细胞内关键蛋白氧化损伤,揭示了乏氧条件下引起氧化还原失衡而导致肿瘤细胞死亡的新机制;研发出完全不依赖于氧气的新型金属光敏剂,在双光子激发下产生碳自由基,损伤线粒体最终诱导乏氧肿瘤细胞死亡;发现多个能有效克服肿瘤耐药和诱导免疫原性细胞死亡的金属配合物。以第一作者或通讯作者在Nature Chem、Nat Commun、PNAS、JACS、ACIE、Adv Mater等国际著名期刊发表SCI论文228篇,论文引用17700多次,H-index 72;申请中国发明专利22件,授权15件;参编专著教材8部。入选爱思维尔中国高被引学者和World Top 2% Scientists(斯坦福大学排名)。国家杰出青年科学基金获得者(2015),入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划(2006)和广东特支计划百千万工程领军人才(2015)。

化学公益贡献简述

从教25年一直工作在化学教育第一线,长期承担多门本科生化学专业课的讲授。担任中山大学拔尖班导师,指导多名本科生先后获得8项国家大学生创新训练计划项目资助。曾担任广东实验中学“钟南山科学人才培养班”校外导师,积极参与中学生课外化学兴趣小组的指导。2011年被评为中山大学校级教学名师,2012年被评为广东省南粤优秀教师,2014年获宝钢优秀教师奖。担任中国化学会化学生物学专业委员会委员、广东省化学会常务理事和广东省化学会化学生物学专业委员会主任委员。积极参与国内外学术交流,先后参与承办多个国际、国内学术会议,并应邀多次在国内外学术会议做大会报告或邀请报告。和欧美高校多个课题组开展了广泛而富有成效的科研合作,包括法国巴黎文理研究大学Gilles Gasser教授、英国华威大学Peter J. Sadler教授、美国犹他大学Peter J. Stang教授等。2022年参与由 Peter J. Sadler 教授领衔的In-cell Organometallic Redox Catalysis团 队,获得了英国皇家化学会的 Dalton Division Horizon Prize。
