主要从事分析化学、环境化学教学工作, 研究领域为电化学领域, 包括电化学传感器、催化、能源存储与转化等。“江苏省扬州LED新光源材料测试技术服务中心”与“江苏省开放实验室”平台负责人。主持完成国家自然科学基金项目面上项目2项, 省厅级项目5项, 企业委托服务研究横向课题20多项, 在包括Nature Catalysis, Nature Chemistry, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Angewandte Chemie-International Edition, Chem, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental 等国际学术刊物上发表SCI收录论文250余篇, H-index 66 (2026), 获中国发明专利授权23项, 专利技术转让1项。2018年获江苏省“百优人才”奖与“分析测试技术三等奖; 2009年获扬州市科学技术进步二等奖(排第二)。2017年获2014–2016年度扬州市自然科学优秀学术论文二等奖; 2017年获江苏省优秀教学成果奖(高等教育类)二等奖; 2017年获江苏省分析测试技术三等奖; 2009年获扬州市科学技术进步二等奖(排第二); 扬州市优秀自然科学论文一等奖2次(均排名第一), 2004年扬州大学“新世纪人才工程”优秀青年骨干教师。2023-2025年扬州大学化学化工学院研究生教育督查与指导委员会委员。2017年全国化学工程领域工程专业学位研究生优秀论文指导教师; 2019年和2021年扬州大学优秀硕士论文指导教师; 2019年扬州大学优秀本科论文指导教师, 多次指导本科生获得省、校级“挑战杯”大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛奖和“互联网+”大学生创新创业奖项。
