化学合成, 发光材料及含硼药物
主要业绩
南京大学燕红教授, 国家杰出青年基金获得者。1998年开始硼簇化学研究至今,从多面体硼烷、碳硼烷、到金属硼烷、再到金属碳硼烷。从新结构发现,到惰性B–H键活化及功能化方法的探索及机理研究,再到发光材料、传感、生物成像、生物活性及硼中子捕获疗法(BNCT)抗癌药物的研发,25年来涉及了硼簇研究的很多方面,在这一领域积累了丰富的经验。具体如下:(1)在硼簇合成化学方面,通过金属活化及光、电介导等手段实现了碳硼烷惰性B–H键官能团化,获得了各类含B–X键的新型功能化产物,其中包括一些高效、实用、简洁的合成策略,建立了功能化碳硼烷分子库,为碳硼烷的应用奠定了基础;(2)利用碳硼烷独特的电子效应、空间位阻效应、三维芳香性、热稳定性等性质,成功调控了各类发光分子的光物理性质,获得了一系列有应用前景的发光材料如有机单分子白光材料、近红外发光材料、电致发光材料、OLED材料等,进一步将碳硼烷衍生物应用到生物成像、传感等领域;(3)发现了硼簇特有的几类非共价键,如B−H---π、cage---π、cage---cage,cage---卤键等,丰富和发展了已有的非共价键类型,揭示了这些非共价键的本质并发展其在调控发光、高效光热转化以及光催化等方面的应用;(4)自2006年起致力于碳硼烷衍生物的生物活性研究,包括活体内靶向BNCT硼携带剂的荧光示踪成像研究,获得了一批具有生物成像及较高生物活性的新型碳硼烷衍生物,为硼簇的诊疗一体化BNCT靶向药物的研究奠定了基础。自2020年起首次结合聚集诱导发光(AIE)成像构建了肺癌靶向的新型硼簇携带剂,并获得了良好的中子照射治疗效果,为进一步的硼携带剂的开发积累了经验。
已发表了包括 Sci. Adv., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nat. Commun.等在内的200篇相关学术论文,授权国内发明专利15件。一些工作获国内外同行的好评及各类媒体报道及评论,包括多次被Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (VIP, hot paper, cover picture), J. Am. Chem. Soc. (spotlight, front cover),Chemical and Engineering News, Chemistry World, 国家自然科学基金委网站及其杂志等评价。
