1987.06-目前 中国石油大学(北京),助教、讲师(1988)、副教授(1991)、教授(1996)、博士生导师(1998);历任储运实验室主任、储运教研室副主任、储运教研室(系)主任、油气储运工程国家重点学科负责人、石油天然气工程学院学术委员会主任、机械与储运工程学院学术委员会主任、校学术委员会副主任。期间,1994年-1998年在职攻读并获油气储运工程博士学位。

主要业绩
长期从事油气储运工程、流变学、非牛顿流体力学的教学与科研,以易凝高粘原油流变学与输送技术为主攻方向,先后主持国家自然科学基金重点项目、教育部及北京市和三大石油公司项目70余项,获国家科技进步一等奖1项、省部级科技及教学奖12项(一等奖5项、二等奖5项、三等奖2项),发表SCI/EI论文130余篇。曾获全国优秀博士学位论文指导教师、北京市优秀教师等荣誉称号,享受国务院政府特殊津贴。
担任第四届、第五届流变学专业委员会委员;第六届、第七届、第八届(现任)流变学专业委员会副主任委员兼秘书长。中国化学会第29届理事会理事。
