主要业绩

本人主要研究方向为动态超分子组装材料与分子机器。从小分子到宏观组织的多尺度动态适应性调控是维持复杂生命体持续非平衡运转的基本机制之一。这一独特的生命调节机制为化学家和材料学家在动态分子材料的设计和调控上提供了诸多启示。如何利用结构明确的有机小分子基元,通过化学自组装的方式,构建具有动态适应性行为的多尺度功能分子材料,是材料化学领域的重要研究方向之一。
本人主要围绕智能组装材料的基元创制、组装策略创新等开展了系统的基础研究,开发出一系列独具特色的分子机器动态分子基元,并以此发展出一系列在表界面和体相中进行动态自组装的新方法、新策略。针对材料设计中的功能多样性和制备简易性的权衡问题创新性地提出了利用天然小分子基元本征动态性的自组装策略,实现了一系列源头创新的动态智能分子材料的精准合成和应用开发:
(1)聚焦材料设计中分子机器基元的精准可控合成和组装,探索了传统溶液相的分子机器动态分子基元在表界面中的动态功能放大机制,开拓出一系列表界面功能分子材料,动态分子机器体系在表界面相有效工作的proof-of-concept为今后拓展可能的应用奠定了坚实的科学基础。将动态穿梭功能的轮烷分子梭引入到磷脂双分子层的界面空间中,构建了轮烷型人工离子跨膜运输通道;通过人工分子肌肉在纳米粒子表面的集成组装,实现了纳米尺度下粒子间距的精准可逆调控,构建了智能响应的分子致动器;利用动态分子配体对表界面性质的动态调控,将分子的调控性传递到材料的表观催化性能,构建了一系列人工可开关催化材料。
(2)聚焦结构简单分子基元的本征动态性,利用正交自组装策略大幅简化复杂结构聚合物材料的制备步骤,开发出一系列结构新颖、功能集成、性能优越的动态超分子聚合物材料。将机械互锁分子基元引入氢键高分子网络,揭示了其在拉伸过程中的“分子拉链”效应,使微量分子基元的机械适应性能够放大到整个聚合物体相,大幅度提升其机械性能;开创性地利用天然小分子硫辛酸的本征动态性,通过超分子非共价键和动态共价键的正交无溶剂自组装,实现了一系列集成功能多样性的聚硫辛酸材料的简单、高效合成,并实现了动态聚合物材料在机械性能、自修复性能、粘附性能、回收性能等重要材料性能的高度集成和指标突破。
目前已发表SCI 论文90余篇,全部文章引用超过4000余次,单篇最高他人引用300余次,9篇文章引用超过100次,撰写英文专著2个章节。近五年以第一作者或者通讯作者在Chem. Rev., Chem, Matter, Nat. Commun., Sci. Adv., J. Am. Chem. Soc. (2篇), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (2篇), Adv. Mater. (2篇), Chem. Sci. (2篇)等国际著名学术期刊上发表论文50篇。曾先后在Chem. Rev., Matter, Chem. Sci., Sci. China Chem., Adv. Opt. Mater.等期刊受邀撰写并发表综述文章,受邀在英国皇家化学会Chem. Commun.杂志2015 Emerging Investigators themed issue 上发表研究性论文,受邀担任Wiley数据库旗下杂志ChemPhysChem 2016年Molecular Switches and Molecular Machines特刊的共同客座主编,受邀担任Mater. Chem. Front. 2020年Sauvage Symposium特刊共同客座主编。研究成果多次被Nature, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Chemical Engineering News, Sci. China Chem.等杂志Highlight。分子机器领域的先驱、2016年诺贝尔化学奖得主J. F. Stoddart教授在其代表性论著(The Nature of the Mechanical Bond, John Wiley & Sons, 2016)也30余次提及并大段配图评述我们的工作。曾获全国百篇优秀博士学位论文奖以及霍英东教育基金会高等院校青年教师基金,入选上海市浦江人才计划、上海市优秀学术带头人计划、教育部青年长江学者计划等。
目前作为华东理工大学化学与分子工程学院院长,同时承担了教育部结构可控先进功能材料重点实验室常务副主任,教育部结构可控与分子工程国际合作联合实验室副主任等学术管理工作,积极参与中国化学会组织的活动,积极参与化学学科建设。目前华东理工大学化学一级学科入选国家“双一流”建设学科,ESI总引国际排名进入全球前万分之三,位于世界一流化学学科前列。曾多次组织重要的国际学术会议,如2012年光电功能分子国际研讨会、2014年分子传感与逻辑门国际会议、2018年先进功能分子国际研讨会、2019年多功能先进材料研讨会。
