学习经历：
1、1991年1月到1993年3月，德国马尔堡Philipps大学物理化学系，获理学博士学位(聚合物物理化学，1993年3月)。
2、1982年2月到1984年7月，北京化工大学(原北京化工学院)高分子材料系，获工学硕士学位(聚合物材料科学, 1984年8月)。
3、1978年1月到1982年2月，四川大学(原成都科技大学)高分子材料系，获工学学士学位(聚合物材料科学，1982年2月)。

工作经历：
1、1984年7月到1988年10月，中国科学院化学研究所，助理研究员。
2、1989年1月到1991年1月，德国马普学会聚合物研究所，访问学者，获马普学会奖学金。
3、1993年5月到1995年9月，日本京都大学，聚合物化学系，博士后研究员(POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW)。获日本学术振兴会博士后奖学金和日本文部省青年科学家研究基金。
4、1995年9月到1996年9月，日本东丽公司合成纤维研究所，研究员(RESEARCH FELLOW)。
5、1996年9月到1997年9月，日本京都大学，聚合物化学系，研究员(RESEARCH FELLOW)。
6、1997年10月到2002年7月，新加坡材料研究和工程研究院，高级研究员(SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW)。
7、2002年7月至今，南开大学化学学院高分子研究所，教授。
1、1984年7月到1988年10月，中国科学院化学研究所，助理研究员。

曾经获得日本学术振兴基金会的博士后奖学金，在京都大学从事博士后研究工作。也曾在中国科学院化学、德国马普聚合物研究所（获得马普学会奖学金）、日本东丽公司合成纤维研究所和新加坡国立材料研究院工作。2002年加入南开大学。主要研究方向为：有机-无机杂化材料和有机离子晶体

研究领域和兴趣

高分子科学、分子自组装、有机-无机杂化材料和有机离子固体

主要业绩

曾经从事工程塑料的应用开发、液晶高分子物理结构和织构、聚芳酰胺高性能纤维、发光聚合物器件研制和聚合物多相体系相分离等研究工作。加入南开大学后，在下面四个研究领域里从事研究工作：1、聚合物的结晶物理；2、非线性嵌段共聚物自组装；3、功能有机－无机杂化材料；4、功能有机盐的研发，获得了十项国家自然科学基金委的重点或者面上基金的资助，发表了140余篇研究论文，获得了二十项授权专利。
