The 9th National Conference on Porphyrins, Phthalocyanines, and Related Materials (NCPP-9) and the 3rd Asian Conference on Porphyrins, Phthalocyanines, and Related Materials (ACPP-3) will be held from October 23 to 26, 2025, in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, a city renowned for its rich historical heritage.
The conference is jointly organized by the Division of Inorganic Chemistry of the Chinese Chemical Society and Shaanxi Normal University, with Shaanxi Normal University as the host institution. It aims to promote academic exchange and collaboration in the field of porphyrins, phthalocyanines, and related functional materials, and to advance scientific innovation and industrial development.
The conference will focus on fundamental research and application progress of porphyrins, phthalocyanines, and related macrocycles, covering topics such as synthesis, characterization, properties, and their broad applications in chemistry, materials science, physics, biology, medicine, and industry. It will actively support the national carbon neutrality strategy. Four thematic sessions will be organized: Synthesis and Properties, Electrocatalysis, Photocatalysis, and Biomedicine & Imaging, to foster interdisciplinary integration and the exchange of cutting-edge research.
Renowned experts and scholars from China and abroad, including academicians, Changjiang Scholars, and recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, will be invited to attend. The conference will provide a high-level, comprehensive platform for scientific and technological exchanges among researchers in this field.
